My girlfriend and I were traveling along this lonely road and decided to check out this cache. We were touched by this homage to a loved one and made a pact on the spot that should anything happen to either of us, we will do the same for the other. I wasn't sure if the TB was meant to be moved on, but after reading the description several times, decided that it must be okay since there were no restrictions against it. We'll be taking it back to California to plant it there unless the owner has another preference. We also left Little Kai, a horse TB in recognition of the wild horses we saw along highway 6 on our way here. Thanks for the cache and the moment to reflect. Our sympathy to your family for your loss. [view this log on a separate page]

I have had a few close encounters with cows on this highway and decided it is too risky to drive it after dark. Last time I tried it I came very close to hitting a black cow standing in the middle of the road south of Rachel. [view this log on a separate page] |

This cache helped me be more careful and aware. Thanks. [view this log on a separate page] |

Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. We were visiting Las Vegas and decided to do a little caching in the area of Area 51. Took Resort Apts. Keychain and left charm bracelet from Truckee River Stash in Sparks, NV. Thanks for the reality check of the dangers of open range driving. Tony & Sharyn (Ohio). [view this log on a separate page] |

Made it a priority to stop here on News Year Day while returning to Logandale from Tonopah. We travel this valley fairly often and the solitude destracts drivers from the dangers. Very cold with snow on the distant peaks very beautiful and quiet. We spent some time, placed a nice piece of rose striped stone from a quarry in Tonopah (don't know the proper name of it). The cache is in good shape but we L/T nothing. [view this log on a separate page]
